. Analyze $75M in inventory for excess and obsolescent material using
advanced skills in Microsoft Excel on a monthly basis. This includes:
running reports in SAP and uploading them into a Microsoft Access
Database, building seven Excel spreadsheets with the data extracted
from the database as well as making product line changes including
reserves transfer
. Request reserves with Global Business Units(GBU) and credit back
reserves due to cancellations
. Chair meeting with purchasing, finance and GBU personnel that result
in the following:
o Compile and make changes to original spreadsheet to submit to
the GBU for approval
o GBU makes additional changes and returns to me for final
analysis and corrections

. Responsible for the analysis, disposition and resale of HP Houston's
scrap material
. Negotiates and arranges sale of excess and obsolescent material to
grey market brokers
. Coordinated efforts with environmental team to ensure brokers were
compliant with EPA standards
. Improved overall dollar returns by reducing the quantity of vendors
bidding for the same material The illusion that the market was flooded
with material was destroyed by cutting the number of bidders in half
