Skills
. Dock clerical: Quality Assurance representative whose tasks are to
research address that may be incorrect on tracking labels and
correct them to get the package out for delivery in a timely
manner. Get directions to a location for the driver if needed.
Another one of my duties is to inspect international paperwork for
international packages. This task consist of looking at the
commercial invoice on the packages and verifying that the address
information and tracking information is correct. I also have to
verify the quantity being shipped and the price is correct as well
on the international packages. Once verified I send the package out
to be shipped.
. Dock Yard: Park and relocate FedEx Ground mid sized delivery vans
and straight trucks on the FedEx Ground yard.
. Computer: Word-processing, Microsoft word, Microsoft power point
and data entry. Design, develop and maintain database systems,
create web pages and also computer programming.
. Warehouse: loading, unloading tractor-trailers using the proper
techniques.
I am required to frequently lift, move and unload packages up to 75
lbs. I have worked outdoors in various weather conditions in order
to scan packages in outdoor trailers.
I am also certified through AAA Forklift Certifiers to operate the
following:
Stand up; sit down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and cherry
pickers.
