Pitch and Yaw control of a two degree of freedom helicopter (Control Laboratory - ECE department, OSU)
• Designed a Luenberger observer for a 6th order model and an LQR controller for the resulting 12th order system with State
Feedback using Simulink.
• Designed inclusion of a joystick in the hardware of the system to create intuitive control of the helicopter using DSpace
ControlDesk.
• Commended as the best project in the laboratory for the design techniques used.
Optimization of Hybrid Electric Vehicle performance using Intelligent Transportation Systems - under the guidance of Prof Umit Ozguner
• Implementing Intelligent Transportation Systems with Hybrid Electric Vehicles to optimize travel path based on road and traffic
profile.
• Funded by National Instruments and simulation of hybrid electric vehicles is carried out in LabVIEW.
