? At CTB I am level 2 support for a software package titled
Acuity which is a web based assessment program used by the
New York State Department of Education. I provide support
answers regarding the usage of the program and any complex
programs that needed to be added to the system as far
students, test scores, classes and teachers.

Tier 2 Support for Discovery Research
? The role of Tier 2 support requires me to support
computers that are connected to instruments. I support the
computers as well as the software used to run the
equipment. This particular department namely (DRST) is
under strict guidelines by the FDA and we are trained to
deal with the software and regulations. I support Chemist,
Scientist and Biologist in several buildings at Eli Lilly.
We support over 200 scientific applications and are
required to work with vendors to configure instruments and
software.

. This position at Eli Lilly was basically tier one
support for the Discovery Research Department where we
utilized Remedy as the company helpdesk tracking system.
. Was responsible for supporting scientists in the usage
of one specific software package namely, ISIS. ISIS
stands for Integrated Scientific Information System and
consists of several packages that the scientists use to
develop and register drugs in preparation with getting
them to market. Responsible for configuration and
installation of all ISIS products such as; isis draw,
isis base, isis for excel, and Chimepro.
. Responsibilities included sending out information about
training, software updates, password resets on Unix and
Vax, and solving minor usage problems.

Project Manager/Computer Analyst
. As a project manager, supported Field Service
Representatives which were 150 technicians throughout
the United States that were responsible for maintaining
medical equipment produced by Boehringer Mannheim.
. Project duties included developing databases of
information for and about FSR's and also to handle
computer issues dealing with their Laptop computers,
even repairs and configurations.
. Also responsible for software updates, testing,
configuration and deployment. Was offered this position
due to the fact that the company wanted FSR's to have
Windows95 although the remainder of the company still
had Windows 3.1. My major goal as a project manager was
to make sure everyone had Windows 95 and that all of the
proprietary software was configured and working
properly.

Window NT Server. Setup TCPIP addresses and Netscape
