Application Developer

Worked on Content Aggregator, a walt Disney’s content Mangement system for the ESPN client. A multimedia

entertainment based domain. Content importer which is a GoPublish CMS client will pull or receive content from the

various content sources and create live event or video content objects in the CMS accordingly. During the import

process, the system will also create a group in the Social Content Services for each media asset (live event or video

clip) per locale. The ID of the Social Content group is stored in the LocalizedVideo content object for the localized

media. This Social Content group allows commentary and rating the event or video by locale. The importer will

support adding or changing data sources as needed. Purely worked on backend development, based on spring’s dao,

batch, web,and other modules. Used Microsoft sql as a backend database and Tomcat tss as our application server.
