. Created and populated SharePoint workspaces for the administration
and HR workgroups, as well as guide the larger organization to
implement the software which allowed for greater collaboration and
information sharing;
. Managed the department budgets by monitoring monthly budget to
actual reports, making recommendations on new project spending, and
inputting budget figures into the Financial Edge system for the
next fiscal year;
. Assisted the Vice President of HR in department communication,
including the collection of statistical and financial data for
inclusion in special and periodic reports requested by the
executive office and the board of directors;
. Led the IJM Team Forum, an employee led initiative similar to GE's
Work-Out meetings, which allowed for greater staff involvement and
input into shaping the culture of the organization;
. Facilitated the renewals of liability insurance plans; and

Administration Manager

. Coordinated an expansion project to build-out over 23,000 square
feet of space, which included monitoring the construction and
furniture installation, and relocating 25 staff to work within the
newly constructed space;
. Mentored and trained administrative staff as they provided
professional management support which increased the level of
efficiency within the office, and enabled improved systems to be
implemented in a timely manner;
. Conducted interviews with administrative candidates to evaluate
their experience and skills, and participated in debriefs to
provide input in the hiring decision;
. Directed a volunteer team of 15 people at the annual conference
with over 800 participants in the event registration, set-up and
tear-down, and other behind the scenes details;
. Managed the office by coordinating renovations, space allocation
matters, liaising with landlord and property manager, controlling
inventory of shared materials, training new staff, interns and
volunteers in office and administrative procedures; and
. Supervised the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant and the
operations of the front desk.

. Arranged weekly domestic travel for the Senior Vice President of
Education, including advanced logistical and material preparation,
which allowed for worry-free travel by the Sr. Vice President;
. Provided logistical support to the Director of Church Relations in
the planning and preparation of volunteer trips for IJM church
partners to experience IJM's work in the field and bring them
deeper into a partnership with IJM;
. Compiled, edited and sent a weekly newsletter via e-mail that
provided meaningful connection for constituents to become more
engaged with the work of the organization; and
. Monitored and evaluated incoming speaker requests, and made
recommendations for IJM to pursue engagements that would further
the strategic vision of International Justice Mission.

Hoosier Heartland Chapter of the American Red Cross, Muncie, IN
. Coordinated training for community businesses and corporations,
while increasing the public's awareness of American Red Cross
programs and services through community events; and
. Managed the credentials of more than 150 certified American Red
Cross instructors, and recruited new volunteers and instructors to
teach life-saving programs.
