Project Name : Securitization Data Model - BASEL Enterprise

Duration : From Mar 2007 to Dec 2008
. Client is one amongst the world's leading financial services
companies with operations in Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking,
Global Corporate and Investment Banking and Asset Management
. The objective of this project was to design and setup a Risk and
Financial Data Warehouse to ensure that the bank conforms to the
Basel II accord.
. Involved in understanding Basel II requirements and in modeling
activities of the Basel II attributes identified from different
source systems which are in Oracle, Teradata, CSV FILES and
Mainframe. Data is Staged, integrated, Validated and finally loaded
the data into Teradata Warehouse using Informatica.
. Performed the role of a Team Lead which included mentoring 4
people. Involved with various Project Management activities &
Configuration Management tasks. Worked extensively on proposals &
estimations for the implementation of the systems into the
warehouse
. Involved Completely in Analysis, Design (including creation of
software requirement specification from the business requirement
document), Build, Test and End Delivery for Securitization module.

. Involved in the creation of the trading hub data mart which
obtained data from various Oracle, Teradata and flat file sources
.Created and performed various Data cleansing and Data validation
rules to ensure that the end data was synchronized.
. Involved in Analysis, Design, Build and Test for Equity and Traded
Products module.
. These systems were implemented using Informatica and the Warehouse
in Teradata. Fast-Load, MultiLoad, BTEQ & Fast-Export were the
Teradata utilities used.
Project Name : Implementation of Wholesale Credit Risk Warehouse
Client : Bank of America
Role : Developer

Duration : From Aug 2006 to Feb 2007
. The objective of this project was to convert the some of the
existing Legacy systems in Wholesale to the Wholesale Warehouse
in Teradata
. Total of 8 major systems were converted as part of this initiative.
The scope also included various downstream extracts and views as
well
. These systems were implemented in Informatica where the Legacy
Systems were in Mainframes. Involved mainly with the Informatica
side for all these systems.
. Fast-Load, MultiLoad, BTEQ & Fast-Export were the Teradata
utilities used. Informatica systems were implemented in UNIX using
Maestro for scheduling. Power Exchange was used to pull data from
Mainframes.
. Involved in the understanding of the requirements, High Level
Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) for all the systems that
was converted
. Involved in Build & unit testing and was responsible for reviewing
the final code. Completely involved in executing Integration
Testing & Acceptance Testing
. Worked extensively on performance improvement & query tuning tasks.
. Responsible for monitoring production implementation tasks.
Involved in planning for disaster recovery & back-up process

Project Details :
. The project Scope involves Testing of the Retails Systems in
Teradata which was coded by other IT Vendor
. Involved completely in testing four systems where responsibility
was to come up with extensive test cases and testing approaches.
. Got good exposure for various Test Cases
. Mostly the testing was done using Test Scripts in SQL.
