Electrical Engineer in the Facilities Management Division.
> Undertake condition surveys for various clients to provide reports of
building equipment, fabric and grounds of new and existing facilities
making recommendations with regard to the installation and function of
equipment, building fabric and grounds maintenance. Reports to detail
"fit for purpose" design and installation, maintenance activities,
life cycle, environmental and cost effective efficiency with
recommendations for improvement or replacement as required.
> Maintenance of all PPM and reactive works for M&E equipment and
building fabric including electrical generation, water supply and
sewage treatment and minor construction projects
> Act as start-up specialist to set up and run new large contracts.
Start up of contract with compilation of all QA standard
documentation, compile asset register, set up CMMS and CAFM packages.
> Identify new personnel for all disciplines and train as required to
perform to the high standards necessary for the contract. Set up
weekly training packages to familiarise technicians with the new
facility. Set up Life Safety Documentation and train staff
accordingly. Negotiate subcontracts and implement procedures for SLA
and KPI monitoring and control. Set up and implement safety procedures
for staff and documentation for safe working practices as well as
ongoing safety improvements and toolbox training.
> All department work conducted using Risk Assessments and Job Safety
Analysis, Toolbox Talks and other safety tools to ensure work is
carried out in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. Training
and development of 04 supervisory / office staff and 25 craftsmen and
mechanics.

and customer satisfaction levels are achieved. Actively seek new
business to include follow through to close of contract and start up.
Manage sub-contractors and ensure quality levels (KPI's) are within
the contract specification. Auditing procedures implemented to track
contract compliance and quality.
> Currently assignment: Electrical Engineer Facilities Management
contracted to ADIA, (Abu Dhabi Investment Authority), Corniche, Abu
Dhabi. Responsible for maintenance of all PPM and reactive works for
M&E equipment.
Application of engineering knowledge in design work
> I design the VFD (Variable-Frequency Drives) derating/upsizing of the
Panel to perform better & operate longer life expectancy.
Task delegated
> The main task delegated to me was to carry-out the global event Earth
Hour as on 27th of March 2010.In this task my main target was to turn-
off all the non-essential lights in ADIA for one hour to raise
alertness towards the need to take action on climate change.
