GRADUATE COURSE PROJECTS:
Embedded Application:
. Designed an alarm system which has both client and server
functionality.
. The alarm works on both arm and disarm mode. Comes to active state
when there is a break open of the door or window or when fire breaks
down in the respective house it is implanted. The fire was sensed by
the Dallas one wire temperature sensor embedded on the alarm system.
. It was designed using PIC16F877A by using the various functionalities
in it such as UART interrupts and I2C. By interfacing it with the LCD,
seven segment display and one wire temperature sensor the overall
alarm system was designed.
Object Oriented Principles and Practices/C++:
. Created an appointment calendar for family members with professionals
using STL Maps interfaced with linked list and templates.
. The date for the appointment was coded by using the time library
header file present in the standard ISO C library.
. Various intricate concepts related to object oriented programming such
as delegation, abstraction, polymorphism and encapsulation were used
in the project.
UNDERGRADUATE ACADEMIC PROJECT:
Wireless Energymeter Reading Transmitting System
. The WERTS was designed to relieve the burdens faced by the Electricity
Board staffs of India.
Using the system (WERTS) the consumer was able to transmit the energy
meter readings to
the destination (EB-office) through a mobile phone.

WORK HISTORY:
University of New Haven
West Haven, CT
Research Assistant
Sept. 2009-Present
Supervisor: Dr.Bijan Karimi-Head of Computer Engineering Department.
Research Objective: Design unmanned lawn mower robot using Fuzzy Logic
Technique that enables to trim the grass autonomously.
. Implemented a robot which is run by a fuel cell implanted on it, to
cater to a healthy ecosystem.
. It's embedded with three light sensors, five ping sensors and a fuzzy
controller which controls the operation of the sensors.
. Fuzzy Logic controller was designed and simulated using MATLAB Fuzzy
Logic toolbox and was transformed into embedded C- code using MIKRO-C
which was burnt on the PIC 18F 4550 microcontroller.
