. Responsible for accounts payable system's retroactive price change
subsystem. Modified and enhanced the divisional version of the
subsystem to operate as a corporate system. Designed and implemented
modifications necessary to automate the process, eliminating the need
for supplier invoices and manual discrepancy reconciliation.
. Developed and implemented logic to alert purchasing agents when
suppliers could not be paid because prices had not been entered into
the accounts payables databases. This logic was part of the Evaluated
Receipts Settlement system which reduced expenses by eliminating the
need to process supplier invoices.
. Converted Mechanized Tool Order System from IMS DL/I programs to IMS
BMP programs to comply with current company standards for programming
and recoverability. This project was completed on time against a
tight schedule with limited resources.
