This program consists of 5 large projects, each of which will deliver

Pricing Improvements -The current capabilities being pursued as part
of Pricing Improvements are business auto driver-based rating,

Product Improvements - Product Improvements is currently pursuing two
capabilities. One is an effort associated with overall product
simplification; the second is the rollout of one new company for the
exclusive channel and one new company for the independent channel.
Point of Sale Improvements - This project's initial capability is the
implementation of an agency segmentation model within Commercial

Automated Underwriting - Automated underwriting will be delivering a
near-term capability that will bring "accelerated underwriting" to a
number of risks written within CIQ. The long-term capability of
automated underwriting will create a rules-driven environment that
allows some portion of the risks to be issued without underwriting
involvement.
Commercial Data Warehouse / Portfolio Underwriting - All capabilities
delivered by this project are meant to build and provide access to
needed analytical data to field and staff team members in the most
user-friendly means possible.

consider when switching to DA or CCA to base the recommended budget
amount on anticipated non-generation charges only. Likewise, when

Edison SmartConnect (ESC) program aims to allow customers the ability

through smart technology. The program is targeted at creating lasting
customer value through the use of the new Edison SmartConnect metering
technology.
Billing Maintenance consists of SmartConnect Billing Request, Billing

provide various event notifications to the end customers, and to
provide the usage and billing information on the web. This project is
planned to be implemented in multiple phases. Currently the Stage1,
Stage2 have been implemented and Stage 3 is in System Test phase and
is planned for implementation in May 2012 with the subsequent stages
being rolled out till 2013.
