• As an Intranet Applications Consultant for HP I am responsible for the
complete software development lifecycle of several technology
communications intranet applications such as ROS, Event Registration, Event
Nominations, Session Nominations and ISS Technology Blog. Several dot net
controls like datagridview, repeater, user controls, AJAX controls etc were
utilized in developing these applications.
• I was also involved in the server upgrade/migration process from windows
server 2000 to windows server 2003. Involved in tasks such as database

servers after migration.

• Goldleaf Financials located in Nashville, specializes in developing software
for financial institutions. Working as a Software Engineer for Goldleaf
Financials I was largely involved in the software development lifecycle of two
products called Business Manager 8.0 and Payment Center.
• Business Manager 8.0 was a web application being developed using C#,
ASP.NET, Oracle and some third party tools. Some of the key modules that I
was involved with were funding pipeline, create/edit Portfolio and contact
information for a bank, reserve/aging buckets, generating accounting entries
and several graphic charts using a third party tool called Dundas charts.
Several dot net controls like datagridview, repeater, and user controls etc.
were utilized in developing these modules. Developing screen designs for
several interfaces was also part of my job responsibilities.
• Payment center was a windows forms client application developed using
C# and web services. Originally this application was developed using Dot Net
2003 and I was tasked with converting it to Dot Net 2005 and make some
major enhancements.

• Worked for Healix as a web application developer. Healix located in Sugar
Land, TX specializes in Infusion therapy and my job duties at Healix included
design and development of web applications related to client financials and
real time sales, design and development of several intranet portal sites and
Healix internet web site and several reports by making use of Microsoft
Reporting Services.
• Involved with development of a web application called Client Financials by
making use of .NET technology. This web application provided financial
information related to annual net income, sum of equity and cash flow
analysis of clients to any user who logs into the web application based on
Windows Active Directory authentication. Client Financials web application
made use of a web service to extract data from database and also for
calculations of business logic. Some custom data grids developed as ASP.Net
custom controls were incorporated into this web application. Client Financials
was also developed as a custom web part for a windows share point site.
• Another application with which I was extensively involved with was a real
time sales application that was developed as a custom web part by making
use of Windows Share Point Services and ASP. Net. This web part application
consisted of yearly, monthly, weekly and daily reports, which any user could
generate, on an ad-hoc basis by querying the database by selecting a site
name and a duration period to view the report. A custom feature using
ASP.Net was developed to allow users to export yearly, monthly, weekly, daily
sales reports to excel spreadsheets. This application made use of a custom
data grid developed as an ASP.Net custom control to display sales
information.
• Designed and developing several Healix sharepoint intranet portal sites for
various internal departments.

• Worked for MaxVu Sports (www.msbn.tv) as a key member of a software
development team that was involved in the complete life cycle development of
web applications. MaxVu Sports (now called CVBG, Inc.) is a web
broadcasting company located in The Woodlands, TX that specializes mainly in
sports broadcasting while also being involved extensively in the development
of several web applications and web tools. My job duties at MaxVu Sports
included object-oriented design and development of an enterprise wide
solution for sports broadcast of college games. My involvement in the design
phase of the project comprised of several key design components such as
database design, key design concepts and design of classes while my
involvement in the software development phase of the project comprised of
three key development modules, which were related to sports networks,
devices and sports events.

ACADEMIC Hotel Booking

• Developed a large multi-user hotel booking system by making use of VB.Net and SQL
Server 2000 database. The developed hotel booking system could be used
for hotel and conference bookings on behalf of corporate clients and included
searches, bookings, hotel confirmations, discounts, incentive vouchers,
commissions and also a complete accounting sub-system (invoicing,
payments, dispute handling, statements, etc.).

• Implemented several scheduling algorithms like round robin, shortest job
first, first come first serve, shortest job remaining first, etc.

• Developed Indian Student Association Website as part of a Database course.
This web site had several dynamic features incorporated based on different
user groups such as the ability for the advisors to view or edit their personal
web pages, ability of the association members to update association activity
events etc.

Animated Online Tutorial
• Developed an animated online tutorial for C++ students, which had two
categories for beginners and advanced students. Students could take online
quizzes and based on automatically calculated grades students were
automatically directed to the next higher-level tutorial or to a lower level
tutorial.

Java 0 Compiler
• Implemented a Java0 Compiler, which was a full-fledged compiler generating
assembly language code based on the Java 0 grammar specification, which
was provided.

Pawn Shop Ticketing
• Implemented a Pawn Shop Ticketing module for Police Research Center at
Sam Houston State University. This module helps law enforcement agencies
to generate and maintain electronic pawn tickets. This pawnshop-ticketing
module consisted of a powerful search engine, report generation tool and the
ability to automatically upload ASCII files.
