. Worked as software consultant for various African-European clients in

the support department. Responsible for supporting the day to day

issues in the databases, resolving production issues, taking backups,

basic Oracle DBA functions.

Projects Handled onsite

. Production Support for Commercial Bank of Zimbabwe (CBZ Bank), Harare,

Zimbabwe

Worked as software consultant and developed the scripts for fixing the

production issues encountered by the CBZ bank. I have done the retro work

changing the Oracle Forms in the banking application as desired by the

clients. The technologies I worked on were Oracle 10g, Oracle forms 6i,

Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL).

. I was in the implementation team as software consultant for Currency

Redenomination Project for Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), Accra,

Ghana Worked on this project developing the SQL/PLSQL scripts for ADB

as Central Bank proposed to re-denominate the existing currency at a

rate of 1:10000 to the existing currency. The technologies I worked on

were Oracle 10g, Oracle forms 6i, SQL, and PL/SQL.

. Currency conversion and redenomination project for Inverunion Bank,

Caracas, Venezuela. Have been made Single Point of Contact for that

site as I have already implemented the same at Accra, Ghana.Currency

upgrade and redenomination project for Federal Bank of the Middle East

(FBME Bank), Tanzania

. Worked as an intern on an internal project Business Accelerating Sales

Engine-BASE. Base is a web based application developed for LGS to track

and monitor the activities of sales and operations. The sales

activities go from the proposal initiation stage to the contract signed

stage, whereas the operations activities go with recruiting a candidate

for a requirement.

. I was responsible for developing and maintaining a contract module in

the application, and the technologies used were C#, ASP, ADO and

database like Oracle.

GRADUATE Projects:

. Implemented Nagamochi Ibaraki algorithm for calculating maximum flow

through an undirected graph and devised and efficient way to reduce the

cost. The technology used was Java.

. Developed an "Online Meeting Scheduler System" as a part of Advanced

Requirements Engineering Course. Responsible for collecting the

requirements from the stake holders, forming the requirements

specification document, creating the software design, coding the

application and finally testing the same.

Skills gained: C#, Gathering Requirements, Testing.

. Developed an eCommerce website using Java servlets as a part of

Objected Oriented Analysis and Design course. Primarily responsible for

developing front end JSP pages. Also used Adobe Dreamweaver for

designing the pages.

. Automated Black box testing of a hospital management system called

"Encore" using SilkTest as the testing tool. Responsible for

understanding the application, designing test cases based on the help

manual, running the test cases using a test suite. Added custom

verifications using 4Test scripting tool in order to validate certain

fields. Also performed Data Driven testing to check if the backend data

is in accordance with the front end screens.

Skills gained: using SilkTest, generating test scripts

. White box testing of an Unix utility called "PTX". Used XSUDS

testing tool in determining the coverage of the application based on

the designed test cases. The aim of the project is to maximize the

coverage with minimal test cases. Used inbuilt utilities like Xatac and

XRegression.

Skills gained: Using XSUDS, Analyzing code and writing test cases.

. Developed a web crawling software that fetches all the "Computer

Conferences" specific links along with their details like venue, date

etc, using Java/J2EE along with Google Ajax Search API and the concepts

of SVM classification(machine learning) for extracting domain specific

links and results. Development environment is Windows. Sponsor is Dr Yu

Qian from UT Southwestern Medical Centre. Also involves text mining

concepts.

. Developed "Hotel Reservation System" as a part of Advanced Database

Design course. Responsible for writing the requirements, converting

them to ER model, converting the ER model to Relational model,

normalizing the tables to 3NF to reduce redundancies, creating tables

and populating tables using SQL, and finally creating a front end web

interface for operations like Creating an online purchase request etc.

Skills gained: ASP.Net, ADO.Net, C# technologies for front end coding and

SQL Server 2008 as the database server.

redenomination project in Ghana.

. Secured Second in APOGEE 2005, All India Academic Festival held at BITS

Pilani for developing circuit and program using tool VI LABVIEW and

presenting on 'Traffic Control Systems'.

. Received certificate for giving presentation on 'Finger Print Scanner',

All India Academic Festival held at BITS Pilani during APOGEE 2003.

. Received Pratibha Award, a National award, for achieving state 11th

rank in IPE 2002.
