SONY PICTURES HOME ENTERTAINMENT 2005-2009
Manager, International Creative Services
Was responsible for the design development, pre-press/finishing and
territory localization of all print, A/V and web materials for franchise
titles, catalog films, television product and selected "A-list" theatrical
and acquisition product released on DVD, Blu-ray Disc and UMD formats. Job
duties included project creative direction and production management for
web-based assets, packaging, POP, trade and consumer materials, overseeing
hiring of outside design and print production vendors for directly
responsible titles as well as the titles handled by direct reports,
establishing and adhering to budgets, ensuring all layouts receive
consult/approval by talent, legal, marketing and internal senior management
(routing/trafficking) and approving individual worldwide territory
execution of packaging and POP designs. Projects worked on include Angels &
Demons, Hancock, Casino Royale, Step Brothers, James Bond Catalog titles,
Stargate (SG-1 and Atlantis), The Tudors, Superbad, Starship Troopers
Trilogy, Vantage Point, Ghost Rider, Monty Python's Flying Circus and
Spider-man 3.
PARAMOUNT HOME ENTERTAINMENT INTERNATIONAL 2003-2005
Creative Services Coordinator/Manager
Was responsible for all printed items pertaining to the international home
video release of Paramount Theatrical titles. Job duties included design
and creation of DVD and VHS Sleeves and POP elements, territory
translations of sleeves, review mechanicals and color proofs for
international use, design of special packaging, interaction with design and
repro vendors, daily trafficking of layouts between talent, legal,
marketing and worldwide territories, creation of purchase orders and
resolving vendor invoices. Projects worked on include School of Rock,
Mean Girls, Deadwood, The Manchurian Candidate, The SpongeBob SquarePants
Movie, The Italian Job, Metallica: Some Kind of Monster, and The Machinist.
MADDOCKS & COMPANY 1999-2002
Studio Production Manager/Account Executive
Oversaw the production and trafficking process for entire studio and held
account executive duties on Red Bull Energy Drink and Ketel One Vodka
accounts. Job duties included client services, daily trafficking,
scheduling, tracking and monitoring all stages of projects from each of
studio's clients and updating each project's activity, issuing all purchase
orders, hiring of all production vendors, estimating design and production
costs, quality control, media archiving, creation and maintenance of
internal work flow systems and procedures, hiring of freelance work,
monitoring budgets and deadlines, coordinating and attending press checks,
and scheduling of internal and external work. Studio's clients include
Disney Consumer Products, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Ketel One Vodka, Red
Bull Energy Drink and Platinum Equity Holdings.
THE MACPHEE GROUP 1998-1999
Traffic Account Coordinator
Oversaw the workflow process for the studio, specializing in VHS, DVD, and
interactive packaging. Job duties included client and vendor relations,
scheduling in-house and out-of house design and production time,
determining work estimates, budgets and change orders, quality control,
monitoring and tracking all incoming and outgoing product with clients and
vendors, and coordinating deadlines. Clients included Warner Home Video,
Universal Home Video, Mattel Media, and Havas Interactive.
DAZU ADVERTISING, INC. 1997-1998
Photography Manager
Was responsible for all aspects of photography department for both home
video and theatrical advertising divisions. Duties included tracking all
photography, negotiating prices for stock usage, setting up special photo
shoots, and all other matters relating to photography, as well as traffic
coordinating for the entire studio. Clients included Disney Theatrical,
Universal Home Entertainment International, Fox Searchlight, Columbia
Tristar Home Video, and Artisan Entertainment
