( Modified an employee time entry application to work for all current web
browsers. Streamlined application performance by modifying SQL statements
and simplifying ColdFusion and JavaScript code.

Quill Design, March 2009 - May 2009
( Modified an existing ecommerce application to handle product rentals and
track rented inventory. Created a custom ColdFusion tag to interact with
the CyberSource credit card processing system.
( These enhancements involved ColdFusion 8, JavaScript, HTML

( Added a new option to Marriot's intranet to produce event sales
brochures
( Modified the marketing application to work with FireFox web browsers.
(Added ability in the marketing tools to produce PDF files for printing
brochures.
( This project required ColdFusion 8, MS SQL 2005, JavaScript, Ajax
Curtis 1000, February 2006 - July 2008
( Developed a Customer Integration tool for managing the process of adding
new customers to the Curtis Direct ecommerce application.
( Provided enhancement and bug fixes to the ecommerce application.
Converted various ColdFusion scripts which performed scheduled system
updates to scheduled DTS packages.
( Developed utilities for their c-commerce application to interact with
cXML procurement clients.
I developed a .Net application to act as a common portal to send xml
purchase orders to an Alliance billing system.
( Modified and maintained their in house e-commerce application, Curtis
Direct. These projects involved ColdFusion MX, JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS,
VB.Net, XML, cXML, MS SQL Server 6.5 - 2005 and Reporting Services.
United Parcel Service, August 2004 - February 2006
( Developed a secured internal document sharing utility, which allows
users to upload critical documents to a shared environment.
( Added enhancements to an existing Visual Basic Windows application to
import data from a client PC in Access to MS SQL Server.
( Performed enhancements to a VB.Net reporting application to render
graphs using Corda PopCharts.
Developed sales force efficiency tracking and bonus compensation
application.
( These projects required my knowledge of ColdFusion MX, VB6, VB.Net, MS
Access, Crystal Reports, Corda PopCharts and MS SQL Server.
Consultant, Network Communications, May 2004 - June 2004
( Network Communications produces paper and on-line magazines for the real
estate and rental industries.
( Performed numerous enhancements to integrate their legacy ColdFusion
application with a new product. Modified data export to supply apartment
rental information to third parties, such as Yahoo.
( Also, developed numerous stored procedures in MS SQL to assist in
converting to a new database schema.
( This project required ColdFusion 4.5, JavaScript, HTML and MS SQL
Consultant, Curtis1000, March 2004 - May 2004
( Curtis1000 provides internal e-commerce solutions for business forms,
marketing and promotional materials.
( This project involved numerous bug fixes and performance enhancements
for an existing e-commerce application. Numerous MS SQL queries and stored
procedures were re-written to handle the new client and product growth.
( Added new feature to create product thumbnails dynamically for their e-
commerce site. Re-designed numerous forms to provide more clarity in the
data presentation and to streamline the checkout process.
( This project required ColdFusion MX, JavaScript, HTML and MS SQL
Consultant, United Parcel Service, August 2003 - March 2004
( Worked with analyst to develop marketing initiative tracking
applications. The sales and management staff can track increased growth for
accounts to track their progress. The reports can be manipulated using
data filters and optional sorting ability.
( Calculated statistical information for various reporting modules with
SQL.
( These projects required, ColdFusion 5, JavaScript, DHTML, MS SQL Server
7 and Corda PopChart 5.
Consultant, Automation Technologies, January 2001 - August, 2003
( Designed and developed the Florida Tax Collectors website. This site is
completed data driven. Each agency can add/remove categories and articles,
change images, and add/remove personnel from the on-line directory. This
site was built with ColdFusion, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL Server 2000.
( Solely designed, developed and maintained a web application for
government agencies to accept credit card payments in-house and on-line.
This application integrates with third party credit card processors giving
the client the ability to do real-time transactions and voids. Detail and
Summary reports are provided to each government agency, which makes this
application self-sustaining with little interaction/time required by the
support staff. This payment system collected over 65,000 payments
totaling nearly $9 million in 2001.
( Developed a XML based API (web service) as a method for clients to
integrate their in-house applications with the credit card processor.
Credit card payments can be processed or returned and queries submitted
against the credit card database.
( Solely developed legal software for managing child support cases. This
application runs on the child support office Intranet. The ColdFusion
application generated text files for MS Word mail merging with the legal
documents.
( These projects required my use of ColdFusion, ColdFusion Studio, MS SQL
2000, HTML, JavaScript, IIS stored procedures, triggers and CyberCash
ColdFusion tag.
Consultant, Magnet Interactive Communications, January 2000 - January 2001
( Magnet provides on-line banking services for major banks. This project
involved developing an interactive foreign currency trading site. Bank
customers can buy, sell and trade foreign currency.
( Developed new option to allow corporate bank customers to upload ACH
files (EFT transactions) into the banking application. The files were
validated and prepared for processing. Error reports and file tracking
screens assisted in managing corporate ACH files.
( Enhanced existing ACH option to activate and process multiple pre-
defined ACH batches. The original process only allowed single batch
activation. This project was implemented to accommodate a newly acquired
customer, Bank of America.
( These projects required my use of ColdFusion, ColdFusion Studio, MS SQL
2000, Oracle 8i, HTML, JavaScript, IIS, and CORBA.
Consultant, DMR Consulting, July 1999 - January 2000
( GTE Wireless, now Verizon Wireless, uses a Power Builder application,
which creates commission reports from a Sybase database and are
mailed/faxed to remote sales centers.
( Developed an on-line application to allow the remote sales centers to
view their reports on-line. The Internet application generates identical
reports from the same Sybase database as the PowerBuilder application uses.
The remote sales offices can print their own reports on-line through a
secured web site.
( This project required my use of ColdFusion, ColdFusion Studio, HTML,
IIS, JavaScript, Sybase 11.0 and Oracle Report Server.
Lead Web Developer, SurfAir Corporation, July 1998 - August, 1999
( Worked with the Marketing Department to design and develop the SurfAir
web site. Implemented on-line Shipment Tracking for customers from the
SurfAir web site. Added on-line Claims forms for customer to submit
claims, which are stored in the database and e-mailed to the claims
department.
( Designed and developed on-line application for posting shipments to
truck and air carriers. The carriers would reply if they could accept the
shipment. Additional shipment information, which was previously collected
over the phone, is obtained through on-line forms. The carrier's
information is written directly to the main database server, which is
accessible to the SurfAir operators through the legacy Universe/UNIX
application.
( Created an Intranet application using ColdFusion. The Intranet includes
a service request manager, file sharing page, forum, and other department
specific utilities.
( These projects required my use of ColdFusion, ColdFusion Studio, HTML,
IIS, Apache Web Server, JavaScript, Access, PERL, UNIVERSE Basic, Windows
NT, UNIX and Linux.
