. Federal ERRS & REPA Contracts: Head on-site chemist in support of
Hurricane Rita emergency response environmental relief efforts under the
Federal ERRS Contract. Responsibilities included identification of
unknown materials, database development of analytical results, and
reporting to site management and the EPA OSC. Provided various technical
services to support Booz Allen in execution of Compliance Evaluation
Inspections of UST sites within the state of Louisiana as part of the
Energy Policy Act of 2005 under the Federal REPA Contract.
. Phase I & II, NEPA: Project Manager for over 250 environmental assessment
projects throughout the southeast. Activities included Phase I ESAs,
Phase II ESAs, and NEPA checklists, Biological Assessments, and Wetlands
Delineations. Responsible for consultation with regulating authorities
including the United State Fish and Wildlife Service and the Army Corp of
Engineers. Coordinated and managed all third party subcontractors when
required. Conducted all fieldwork and produced all required
documentation and report preparation associated with each site project.
. UST & NPL Corrective Action Sites: Project Scientist for several UST
Corrective Action Sites throughout Georgia. Projects include drilling,
groundwater sampling, data gathering/presentation, groundwater/soil
remediation system operation, repair and maintenance. Responsible for
drafting monitoring reports, corrective action plans and other associated
material as required. Remediation techniques at the different sites
included air sparge / soil vapor extraction, direct injection, source
removal, and bioremdiation.
