Project Manager / Tellabs Inc. Naperville, IL 2000 - 2003
Tellabs is a manufacturer of digital cross connect switching equipment for the telecommunications

Managed the resources, timelines and profit and loss required to engineer, install and test digital cross
connect equipment across the lower 48 states.

ComEd is one of the nations' largest nuclear electric utility based in Northern Illinois and Pennsylvania.
• Managed project to consolidate 15 years of equipment inspection records (1,000,000 indications)
into an electronic database. Data is used to trend and analyze failure information and manage
the maintenance repairs performed. Database application is utilized by 4 different plants and 25
engineers to support equipment repair decisions.
• Led process reengineering team that were assembled to develop the analytical capabilities of
ComEd's nuclear maintenance program. Process teams worked for a year generating
maintenance and process improvement items that will yield millions of dollars in labor and
maintenance dollar savings.
• Project managed the integration of several legacy databases and hard copy information from
procedures and inspection reports into a single database application. Consolidation of inspection
requirements improves consistency of the equipment inspections and overall program
effectiveness.
• Oversaw the day-to-day activities of 21 engineers, quality control inspectors, instrument and
control foreman and technicians. Plant consistently achieved the highest awards for efficiency
within the company.
