The project involved analysis of their current business intelligence

solution using cognos impromptu, powerplay 7.x for their main product

portfolio cube and HFM for the Key Performance indicators and 12-month

rolling forecast cubes.

The aim of the project is to replace/replicate similar functionalities of

cognos and HFM with the newly purchased products from Hyperion, that is,

Hyperion System 9 BI+. The idea is to build a Data Model sourced from BPCS

and then feed the Hyperion Applications for Reporting purposes.

. Analysis of current reporting system of Sales and Marketing (Cognos

impromptu 7.x & HFM) and replacing it with Hyperion System 9 BI+ suite

of products purchased by Client.

Nextel is a major telecommunication corporation. This project involved

using an Essbase-Hyperion Planning based reporting solution to replace

Nextel's current reporting solution which used Genesys 6.5 for day-to-day

management and control of its Contact Center facilities that employ more

than 800 staff over 2 locations.

This was replaced by a web based reporting solution using Essbase-Analyzer-

Hyperion Planning. I led a team of 2 analysts to design, develop and

implement this solution in a very short time.

in to load data and the basic concepts of multidimensional databases.
