The primary business software was SouthWare business software package, using the Acucobol
Vision ISAM file system.
• Designed client/server POS software program to facilitate wireless product sales, service, activation
and recurring billing.
• Designed and coded programs in Acucobol to facilitate data flow between POS SQL database and
the primary financial/inventory/sales software Cobol ISAM database. Connector program written in
Acucobol, Transact SQL, and Delphi.
• Designed and programmed an Acucobol interface between SouthWare and Motorola’s IMPACT21
PC Client program. Program facilitated communication of Motorola sales activity in SouthWare to
Motorola without requiring duplicate data entry.
• Designed and programmed numerous enhancements to the standard SouthWare business software
package. These included Motorola On-line related enhancements to Order Entry and Purchasing of
Motorola radio models, options, and parts.
• Developed Pager programs to facilitate order entry, Inquiry; Activation and Contract Maintenance.
