3. B2C Segmentation
Duration : Feb 08 - Till Date
Release : CRM 7.0
Technology : ABAP
This initiative is to develop a new application for High Volume
Segmentation which is typically applicable in the B2C scenario. Unlike the
existing segmentation application wherein a profile set would be
constituted of disjoint profiles, each profile defined by its own set of
conditions, in the high volume scenario, a profile set renamed as the
Segmentation Model would be constituted of hierarchically linked profiles.
In this, each profile would inherit the attributes that define its parent
profile. With this are provided new operations to split, merge, and form
intersection between profiles and target groups.

. Development of the API layer for the creation and maintenance of profiles

the database all the data that is no longer relevant for operational
business and stores it in archive files that can be accessed by the system
in read-only mode. Territory Archiving on similar lines was meant to

the automated ID generation feature for territory creation from the UI.
