Skills
In order to complete my tasks I've had to develop the right skills
necessary to manage myself and a positive working relationship with peers
that make for a productively efficient work environment and overall success
of the mission. In conditions where manpower, resources and time were at a
premium I had to effectively communicate with my supervisors and
subordinates to organize our intelligence requirements.
Objective
I intend to follow a career in the Navy Reserve Intelligence and one in the
civilian field to efficiently streamline my skills and abilities to
contribute equally as a service member and an employee. Since I have
attained Noncommissioned Officer rank of E-5 in my service, I have worked
in a multitude of working conditions. I would still benefit greatly from a
civilian position where I could further develop my knowledge base and
become familiar with the civilian process for analysis and make use of my
management skills. I have had experience collecting and disseminating in
the form of Intel and operational summaries as well as briefs for
operational support and training purposes:
S&T Analysis
Operations & Tactics
Terrorism
Civil Maritime analysis
Regional analysis
General Military Intelligence
Activities
Currently I drill with COMPACFLT unit 0270 located at NAS JRB Fort Worth. I
have been the Training Leading Petty Officer for 10 months and maintain
mobilization readiness, annual training and any ancillary tasks for Pacific
Fleet Command requests. COMPACFLT has generated 7 critical productions to
fleet intelligence; the most notable being the 2009 Blue Force Manual. Over
40 Powerpoint slides of updated U.S. Navy platform information; to be used
by Pacific forces as the most current reference for ship capabilities. I
was personally responsible for the LHA/LHDs as well as corresponding
amphibious units. I took it upon myself to scrutinize the entire
presentation meticulously for error or any updated information that was
well substantiated and necessary for Intel Specialists on the watch floor.
Subsequently I was rewarded with an excellent evaluation and tasked with
the responsibilities of Training Leading Petty Officer.

those issues and may be willing to option for a college path that would
make me a more productive employee.
