Café and not getting to see those folks is probably
what I miss the most after closing my Café.
• I also enjoy solving problems. I worked with other
downtown Jarrell business owners to form a group
that served as an organization to promote
knowledge and patronage of the downtown
businesses. We now produce a monthly newsletter
called the “Jarrell Downtowner” that promotes a
new business each month.
• I am also on the Jarrell High School Improvement
Committee, where we look at different objectives
and decide whether or not we should pursue a
different path or stick to the same, when dealing
with school “rules.”
