Founded the company in 2001 and in six years grew the firm into a group of companies with a 27-member
team of outstanding caliber and two communities under construction approved for 1,012 multi-family and
single-family units for sale, 482 multi-family units for rent, and 248,000 square feet of commercial space.
The companies included a general contracting firm focused on high-volume multi-family construction and in-
house site work and road building operations. With a commitment to excellence, set the vision for the
companies and its projects and grew the companies with entrepreneurial drive, creativity and
resourcefulness. Led the companies’ projects through the full cycle of real estate development activities,
including feasibility analysis, acquisition, planning and design, debt and equity financing, marketing,
development, construction and customer service. Led two of the affiliates through a complex Chapter 11
reorganization and developed the financial plan for reorganization with the attorney’s direction.
As President and CFO, maintained overall P&L responsibility for development and construction operations in
the advancement of revenue, profitability and growth. CFO responsibilities included management and
supervision of the accounting department; cash flow management; oversight of all financial matters of all
companies; preparation of projections, forecasts and pro-forma for projects and companies; profit, feasibility
and economic analysis; review and negotiations of contracts and all legal agreements; management of legal
disputes; coordination with outside CPA regarding tax and financial reporting and audits; structuring debt
and equity financing; maintaining relationships with banks and sophisticated high net-worth investors;
managing the companies’ information technology and computer systems; and creating, implementing,
monitoring and enhancing internal controls for effective financial and project management control.

finance and accounting operations, purchasing, land acquisition, and development of communities. Directly
managed the firm’s cash flow. Accomplishments include:
Substantially contributed to the stabilization of operations, improved cash flow, solid market
share, well-located communities, and lot inventory for future growth. This led to the acquisition of the
company by the Lennar Corporation.
Substantially improved cash flow and reduced A/P aging by 40% within 6 months; implemented
effective internal controls and new IT systems.
Secured higher lines of credit once cash flow was improved and opened up new communities.
This led to the firm dominating the entry-level market in the Greenville / Spartanburg MSA.

Managed development and construction, accounting and finance, sales and marketing operations in the
development and construction of a residential green community of luxury homes.
Awarded the 1996 South Carolina Outstanding Achievement in Stewardship Development by the
