United Health Group is a part of fortune 25 companies, providing health
care services to millions of Americans it is one of the leaders in health
care industry.
Project 1- SPP (Strategic Payment Program) In United Health Group actively
involved as Business Analyst for migration of EOB, 835 transactions from
Summary Check to a new system called Payment engine, which will be
responsible for handling of all the new data, payment engine will also
support Member EOB which was not supported by Summary check, it will also
have new features for Provider EOB. Other features include generation of
EOB, Member Health Statements, and Generation of 835 files.
Project 2- CAMS (Consumer Accounts Management Systems) CAMS is used for
managing all the financial Accounts like Medical and Dependent Care FSA's,
HRA, HIA, HSA and RMSA accounts. CAMS is fully functional to manage all
consumer driven health plan types and can support unlimited number of
member groups, it manages Member financial product eligibility and
contribution data. It also adjudicates all the rollover and manually
submitted claims against available accounts held by a member. Currently I
am involved in migration of current customer base from GFLX to CAMS,
migration of business from other platforms to CAMS, currently CAMS
adjudicates around 90,000 claims per day our target is to take to around
500,000 per day.
Responsibilities:
. Involved in gathering business requirements related to application design
from operations staff at all levels.

for design analysis.
