Readership Research Intern/Consultant 2009-2010
I developed a taxonomy and assisted in the development of an interface for
internal users to access Readership Research data.
? Developed a taxonomy for the readership research database. I aimed for
consistency with other lists, such as the Consumer Reports Index, Consumer
Reports Online taxonomy, Readership Research questionnaires and the
Readership Research database. My other tasks included categorization of
products and sub products, and proof reading.
? Assist in the development of a web interface for the Readership Research
database, which allows users to perform user-friendly ad-hoc requests.
Developing the web interface included interviewing users to determine their
information needs and create an interface that is user-centered. Developing
the interface included the use of HTML, ASP, and SQL in the program of
SharePoint Designer 2007.

Project Choice is a study analyzing the FDA approved medication Naltrexone
and its effectiveness in moderating alcohol use for young adults who drink
heavily.
? Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible study participants.
