iPhone/iPad Development Experience

Conceived, designed and developed Trumpet Pro, French Horn Pro and Trombone Pro which are

a family of music education software products written using the same codebase. Even though the

mechanics, key and ranges of the trumpet, french horn and trombone are quite different I

engineered a way to leverage the same codebase for all three products using conditional

compilation directives. Technical hurdles included finding a way to produce harmonies, display

music on screen, time the finger touches for scoring purposes and fitting all of this into a small

480x320 screen and present it in a natural intuitive way for the end user. All code was written in

Objective C using Xcode. Products can be viewed at http://www.contactplus.com/trumpetpro and

Conceived, designed and developed Trumpet Pro HD and French Horn HD which are specifically

designed for the iPad. Due to the large screen and different interface elements available and

specified by Apple I rewrote large portions of Trumpet Pro and French Horn Pro to take advantage

of the new form factor. All code was written in Objective C using Xcode.

Windows Desktop Development Experience

Completed all design, programming, help files, video tutorials, website and documentation.

ProLaw Software Albuquerque, NM

Member of technical staff responsible for writing new code and enhancing existing code for a large and

popular legal case management system written primarily in Delphi Client/Server using an MS SQL

backend.Responsible for various features in the interface in both the front office/back office functions of

the product entitled ProLaw. Worked on both the front office interfaces such as and back office

accounting software modules. Integrated external document management systems into ProLaw and

developed case "libraries" used to tailor the product towards specific legal practices (i.e. trademark,

criminal, family, etc). Solved one particularly hard problem that had not been solved in years in the

interface code where "cascading queries" were not being displayed properly on screen. Small company of

100 employees was eventually acquired by Thompson Elite as subsidiary of Thomson Reuters. Skills

used: Delphi, MSSQL, Visual Basic
