I became a key holder and gained the responsibility of opening and preparing the
deposit as well as closed the store along with closing and counting down the
registers. It was my responsibility to do inventory and put out new products on
the floor. I was in charge when the manager was not present to make sure
everyone was on top of his or her duties.
• Guitar Center
October 2007 – April 2008
It was in my duties to stock the floor with new products and make sure
everything was organized. I demoed the products for customers with questions. I
cleaned the products and made sure my registers were prepared for the next
business day. It was in my duties to make sure that the rooms were also properly
connected with all the cables to be properly demoed.
• Comp USA
August 2006 – September 2007
My job included selling computers and electronics. I had to keep up with
technical specifications of the products that we sold and were going to start
carrying. I helped customers by answering their questions, demoing and
explaining the differences of the products and tried to right fit them with the best
product to fit their needs. I kept up with the pricing so that way the latest pricing
was always out for the customers.
• CCISD

I was employed at Martin Middle School as an after school mentor. My job
included helping the kids with their homework and played educational games to
keep them interested in school. Another duty was to help the “At Risk” children
with their TAKS TEST studies and made sure they understood the subject at
hand. My employment with the CCISD also included working at Ray High
School where I was a tutor to the “At Risk “ high school kids for the TAKS
TEST.
• Sears Roebuck
AUGUST 2005 – AUGUST 2006
My position at Sears was a Sales Representative in the Electronics section. I sold
TV’s and home electronics. I kept up with the technology that we sold which in
turn helped me answer questions accurately. I helped customers with their
questions by demoing and knowing the technical specifications of the products
sold. I cleaned and organized the section, so it was at its full potential. I was in
charge of my own cashiering and helped my customers to their vehicle with their
newly bought product.
• Journeys
JULY 2004 – JULY 2005
It was in my duties at Journeys to help the customers with their preferred shoes
and to recommend related shoes. At night I cleaned the displays and vacuumed
the store and kept up to date on the pricing of the shoes . I did inventory and
stocked the shoes. I helped with audits and organizing of the store and stock room
and help cashiering.
Skills
I am a great team player and a strong believer in teamwork and getting along
with everyone of my co-workers. I have great Public Relations and love talking to
customers about the products being sold. I enjoy learning about new things like products
being sold and new technologies. I like to be kept up with all technologies not just the
