Enterprise Email Marketing System Conversion (Budget: $800K, 14 months with

6 resources) - Project to migrate existing legacy Email System to Neolane

Enterprise Marketing System. Performed initial 3rd party RFPs, software

evaluations, system analysis, documented system and resource workflows and

architected the application and database hardware and project managed the

conversion. Coordinated deployment and training sessions and managed

technical and creative teams in New York, Connecticut and France. Project

resulting in cutting costs with reduced staff and maintenance of nine email

servers down to two and ability to send 60 million emails a week.

PCI Remediation - Responsible for GAP analysis and documentation, managing

implementing/deployment and auditing process of Payment Card Industry (PCI)

compliance standards across the enterprise and eCommerce application and

database systems

eCommerce Software Re-Architecture - Responsible for the re-architecture of

the public facing eCommerce server environment which included converting

older ASP, COM, SQL 2000 technology to .NET, Web services and SQL 2005.

Enterprise Inventory and Order Management Web Services (Budget: $1.2m, 21

months with 20 resources) Directed the architecture, development, testing

and implementation of the company's first enterprise level, .NET Web

Services to centralize Inventory and Order Management Services. Project was

started by 3rd party consultant and left project after 9 months. I was

brought in to quickly learn and manage remainder of project. Because of its

impact to eCommerce and customer service systems, this was a highly visible

project lasting 21 months and involved the day-to-day managing of 5 off-

site IT project managers across eCommerce, Siebel, Warehousing, IVR, AS400,

Data Warehouse and Technical Service groups.

eCommerce Systems Conversion to .NET (Budget: $600K, 17 months with 14

resources) - Managed the conversion of a multi-tiered, eCommerce

architecture from ASP, VB, COM, and SQL 7 to .NET, C#, XML and SQL 2000.

Large scale project spanned 17 months and involved directing a team made up

of 4 project managers (14 resources in total) for software architecture

and development, integration with legacy applications, database design,

stress testing, server procurement, configuration and installation.

PCI Compliance and Remediation - Led the 9 month remediation effort of

multiple development teams to secure all eCommerce and database systems to

be complaint with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security

regulations. Performed extensive research and GAP analyses in order to

document and implement a strategy for protecting cardholder data through

encryption and multiple levels of security.

Delivery and Production Change Control - Managed cross functional IT group

in a matrixed environment to provide 24x7x365 production support for all

eCommerce systems and database applications as well as standardized on a

common Production Change Control and Deployment application and processes.
