Owner of sole proprietorship consulting firm providing all phases of hands-

on troubleshooting, repair, employee training, product development,

equipment launch, mix designs, budgeting, purchasing and sales interface

for concrete products plants.

. Interfaced with managers, quality control and customers to create mix

designs meeting ASTM C90 product specifications.

. Implemented hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to bring equipment back to

OEM product specifications.

. Modified electro-mechanical equipment to reduce bottlenecks and inferior

products.

. In less than 12 hours, designed and built prototype variable speed AC

drive system to replace a Sumitomo variable speed gearbox system.

. Installed and de-bugged new equipment. Coordinated with OEM engineering

schematics. Documented field wiring, I/O and PLC logic for plant

Took a worn-out block plant and made it into a manufacturing facility that

could be sold to a multi-national competitor.

. Designed, built and installed a hydraulic vibration system for a concrete

block machine.

. Troubleshooting, repair and training of employees in 4 plants on the

North and South Carolina coasts.

. Trained employees on troubleshooting Texas Instrument 5TI PLCs, Allen

Bradley PLCs and a Jonel Batching System using Windows 98.

Helped build the plant at night while attending college during the day.

Increased production from 0 to 85% capacity in 5 years. Designed and built
