Financial control and reporting for Property Management firm with direct control of over fifteen separate corporate
entities. Redirected the payroll tax reporting so as to save over $20,000 in potential fines and penalties in the first six
months. Reduced reliance on outside CPA firm for financial advice and instruction resulting in additional savings.
Manager of Accounting Operations 2008 - 2009

Managed and directed accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and collections for a multi-state printing
corporation with $20 million in monthly sales. Direct supervision of two professional employees.
Directed conversion from DOS-based Wang accounting system to standardized state-of-the-art LOGIC system
that increased efficiency by enabling the transfer of the accounting operations to the corporate office in New
Hampshire (anticipated one year project completed in six months).
Eliminated probable problems with the IRS by documenting and correcting the calculation of the taxable value of

Served seven months as interim Town Manager managing a work force of 157 employees and directing the
extensive preparations for what would prove to be the Y2K bust.
Directed a reduction of 2 FTE through attrition with the modernization of the town’s finance operations from
manual ledgers to an integrated computer network for the accounting, cash receipts, payroll and utility billing
functions.
Improved revenue forecasting accuracy to 98% or better with the development of several regression analysis
techniques for estimating tax revenues establishing user rates for electric and water consumption.
