Work Experience

2/2008 to 7/2009 Controller - Innergy Power Division, Ecotality, Inc.

Innergy Power is a manufacturer of renewable energy off-grid Solar Panels

and rechargeable Lead Oxide Batteries. I am responsible for all Financial

reporting, budgets analysis and consolidations. I provide product line

margin analysis, perform quote reviews and maximize cash flow. For our

manufacturing operations, I provided WIP shop floor reporting systems,

inventory control and cost analysis. As a direct result of these functions,

we identified cost reductions that yielded increased margins. I initially

joined the company in anticipation of a Joint Venture that would have

generated revenues of $75M. The joint venture did not materialize and I was

recently layed off due to downsizing.

2004 - 2008 Controller - Best RV, Inc.

Best RV is a tier 1 supplier to the RV Industry manufacturing cabinet doors

and other various fabric accessories. The company has a manufacturing plant

in Southern California and 2 facilities in Mexico. I was responsible for

all financial reporting but my main focus became the Mexico operations. I

significantly improved plant through put and production efficiencies by

restructuring the WIP work flow and installing timely and accurate shop

floor reporting. This along with systems to measure scrap and utilization

had a direct impact on product margins and improved quality and delivery.

Best RV had revenues of approx. $60M and 175 employees.

9/1999 - 2004 Controller - SKD Automotive

SKD is primarily a metal stamping/weld & assembly operation and Tier 1

supplier to the Auto Industry. I was responsible for all financial

reporting, budgeting, costing, variance analysis and cash management.

Truly, the internal financial consultant.

The first year I served as Controller of U.S. operations which encompassed

3 plant sites, approx. $100M sales volume and 500 employees.

Then I spent 4 years as Controller of our Mexico City plant which has

struggled with integrity and lack of profitability for many years. The

location is now a success story with a bright future.

Performed an internal audit, identified necessary adjustments and

Implemented strong internal controls and analysis tools to assure timely

and accurate reporting.

Implemented departmental budgets and trained management with a good

understanding of spending limits.

Improved shop floor reporting to provide valuable downtime and efficiency

analysis.

Provided capacity reports and Construction in Progress systems to manage

significant growth opportunities.

Reduced staff by 8 people and month end close down to third workday.

9/1992 - 9/1999 Controller - Lear Corporation

Lear Corporation is a World Wide Seating and Interior Trim Supplier to the

Auto Industry.

The first 4 years I served as Controller of the Marshall Michigan Plant.

This location doubled in size virtually overnight and became a very

successful division for the group.

Due to its success, I was given an Ex Patriot assignment as Finance

Director - Interior Systems Group, Trim Division - United Kingdom. This UK

division had 4 plant locations and had been struggling financially for many

years. The company lacked confidence in the financial reporting. By

installing some common sense measurables, I helped both employees within

each plant as well as U.S. corporate leaders, to understand some inherent

reporting problems and gain confidence with improved performance.

I successfully completed the 2 year overseas tour and was assigned to

Controller to the Grand Rapids, Michigan plant. This plant was the largest

location of Lear's acquisition of the seating division of Delphi Automotive

Group from General Motors. Sales volume approx. $300M; 1,500 employees.

After 1 year of this interesting assignment, I was offered an attractive

opportunity within another division of Lear but the move was denied by

Corporate. I believe the company wanted to continue to utilize my problem

solving skills while I was ready for a more stable environment. At this

point I sadly left Lear to join SKD Automotive.

Other Previous Experience

Triple S Plastics, Inc. - Controller 5 years

Price Waterhouse - 3 years Audit; 1 year tax

Education

Western Michigan University, B.B.A., Accounting Major; General Business

Minor

Comment

I like a challenge; I'm honest with a great deal of integrity and a self

starter with a good common sense approach. Have the ability to get along

well with the team. I work hard and enjoy life. Will do some travel.
