compensation insurer. Became the first regional carrier specializing in healthcare risks.

• Expanded the company from a one state operation to a 14 state platform diversifying underwriting risk.

• Lifetime written premiums over $300 million with peak annual written premium of $54 million.

• Member of the Board of Directors leading the Executive Committee and Reinsurance Committee. Planned

and led all company Board strategy meetings while maintaining responsibility for executing business plans.

• Developed the distribution system and sales strategies using independent agencies. Originated and

cemented close relationships with brokers that submitted an average of 1,000 accounts annually.

• Transformed the company from third party claim administration by building out an internal claim operation.

Led a liability reduction initiative that dropped open claims from 2,500 to 450 in 4 years saving more than $40

million in case and IBNR reserves.

• Transitioned the company to a virtual operating model with all employees operating at remote locations. First
