Objective

My main objective is to obtain a graphic design position in either print or

web design. I intend to pursue whatever position I may obtain with the same

diligence and enthusiasm as demonstrated in past work experiences. My goal

is to better myself and my employer through hard work and collaboration.

Experience Highlights

E-Commerce Graphic Designer Oct 2008 - July 2010

John Austin Pools, INC dba PoolGeek.com - Howell, MI

In the position I held, I was responsible for product photography, web

graphics, website layouts and CSS/HTML programming. I worked closely with

the marketing department to create weekly advertisements and helped to

shape the corporate image of the company. Through my work with John Austin

Pools I have demonstrated a strong sense of typography, visual hierarchy,

conceptual design, and digital production.

Building Supervisor Jan 2007 - Present

City Of Saline Parks and Recreation - Saline, MI

Job responsibilities include supervision of weekend and night time staff,

secretarial duties, oversight of recreation center events and membership

sales. As a part time employee I serve as a liaison to the full time staff.

I have created sale flyers and promotional advertisements in addition to my

normal job responsibilities.

Relevant Skills

Adobe Creative Suite - Proficient with Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator,

Flash, Dreamweaver and Fireworks.

Team Work and Collaboration - Experienced with group projects and

familiarity of interoffice communication.

CSS/HTML/Javascript/PHP - Familiarity with basic web programming/formatting

languages and practices.

Conceptual Design - Capable of creating design solutions which completely

satisfy the project goals in a timely manner.

Digital Production - Knowledgeable of common design practices and proper

file management.
