TECHNICAL PROJECT EXPERIENCE
> Successfully worked through the NPI cycle for the C-Series skid
steer loaders and multi terrain loaders from the concept phase
through the production phase using the Caterpillar NPI process.
Worked through the PD builds and supported the PD builds at the
assembly line. Assisted design engineers to resolve PD fit-up
issues as well as CDIMs in order to drive the C-series program to a
successful completion. Worked with the fabrication suppliers to
improve design for manufacturability by participating in several
CPPD meetings.
> Performed linear/nonlinear static finite element analysis of
structural parts of skid steer loaders, multi terrain loaders and
mini hydraulic excavators. The projects involved analysis of the
different parts and their new design evaluation. Identified
critical aspects related to the design. Recommended design changes
to accommodate manufacturing and ease of assembly, without
compromising on the structural integrity.
> Performed dynamic analysis for the small wheel loaders, backhoe
loaders, compact wheel loaders and track type loaders.
> Created test plan along with gage maps to support the testing
activities for prototype validation on skid steer loader and multi
terrain loader.
> Performed probabilistic analysis for undercarriage components to
account for the material and load variability and do a risk
assessment for the on-field parts. Used the results of this
analysis to consider the cost impact on the rework strategy.
CERTIFICATIONS AND HONORS
. Granted the membership of "Beta Gamma Sigma" a national honors society
for being in the top 20% of the graduating MBA class of 2010
