process plant
. Identified the root cause for shutdowns to be foaming resulting from
contamination of Amine System
. Monitored and analyzed the trend levels of different equipments in the
DHDS block
. Conducted hydrocarbon analysis experiments on samples from amine storage
tank and identified large quantities of hydrocarbon solution in the amine
storage tank
. Successfully solved the problem responsible for a loss of $400,000 during
each shutdown
. Investigated the absorption process in the DHDS plant extensively in
terms of detailed material and energy balance calculations and compared
them with the normal calculations
