Performed advanced black-oil/compositional reservoir simulations of asphaltene
precipitation to investigate its detrimental effects on oil production under
primary depletion, CO2 and water flooding processes.
Performed computer programming on a daily basis for years to model complex
phenomena via a reservoir simulator.
Developed and implemented a cutting-edge multiphase flash calculation procedure
into a state-of-the-art, groundbreaking computer code for compositional
reservoir simulation.

developed advanced algorithms.
Used an advanced scheme of mathematical formulations to develop and implement a
sophisticated Jacobian Matrix containing hundreds of mathematical terms

N.I.O.C. - Abadan Refinery Engineering
Worked on various petroleum distillation units of one of the largest oil
refineries in the Middle East, that converts crude oil into a wide variety of
hydrocarbon streams. Studied the architecture of each distillation unit and
performed engineering mass balance studies to analyze the input/output of
hydrocarbons into the unit.
Worked on a catalytic cracking unit (FCCU), the only one available in the
Middle East. FCCU converts hydrocarbons with absolutely no value to a product
of high value, gasoline for cars/airplanes. Performed heat transfer and fluid
mechanics studies on multiple units and studied various types of corrosion that
take place in pipelines, towers, etc.
TOTAL FINA ELF - South Pars Gas Field Engineering
Worked on design, construction and coating of a long underwater pipeline used
in the Persian Gulf to transfer offshore gas from the largest gas field in the
world to a giant gas refinery.
Studied the geology, petroleum reservoir/production engineering aspects of
South Pars gas field. Worked on multiple databases. Performed numerous fluid
mechanics studies.
