As Information Technology Manager, I oversaw the development and
implementation of IT changes to the Medicare Fiscal Intermediary Standard
System (FISS). My responsibilities included managing all testing activities
related to system changes and modifications prior to distribution to the
data centers. In this role, I managed and directed a staff of up to 35
people to complete various projects as defined by CMS.

Claims/Systems Support Manager, Anthem Inc. (Cincinnati, OH)
As Claims/Systems Support Manager, I oversaw a five-person staff
responsible for the implementation of FISS releases and subsequent testing
as contractors reported problems. In this position, I also served as
Anthem's Change Control Board (CCB) representative.

I was responsible for insuring that Medicare claims were processed and paid
in accordance within CMS guidelines, and managing claims inventory levels.

In this position, I served as the principal liaison between Anthem's Claims
and IT departments, and oversaw a two-person staff responsible for
analyzing, testing, approving and implementing program changes.
Medicare Claims/Service Supervisor
I oversaw all customer service functions related to Medicare claims
processing. In this capacity, I managed a 90-person staff that responded to
customer service inquiries from beneficiaries and providers.
