1. Target Estimation Portal(TEP) Oct 2009 – Dec 2009

System Description:

This project was about developing an Estimation portal for Target Corporation. This tool allows to

develop estimates for the duration and resources/effort required for a project. This project

followed the agile methodology.

Role:

• Preparation of functional, design and UI specifications and check lists/J2EE standards.

• Coding of Java sever pages & Java classes

• Code merging and Integration testing

2.Unix Migration-WAS Upgrade May 2009 – Oct 2009

Client: Target Corporation, Minneapolis, US

System Description:

The intention of the Unix migration project was to decommission Unix servers running on Solaris

8 and 9 and replace it with new servers running on Solaris 10. The Websphere Application server

(WAS) in the new servers was upgraded to WAS6.1 for non-ATG applications and WAS6.0 for

ATG applications. Script and batch components were also migrated to Solaris 10 servers.

Role:

• Code changes for WAS Upgrade to WAS 6.1 and JDK upgrade to JDK 1.5.

• Deployment of code and EAR in Dev, Test, Stage and Production Solaris 10 servers

• Control M parameter changes for batch jobs and testing them.

• Preparation of test plan, application smoke testing in development, integration and

production environments.

3. ATG Migration June 2008-Apr 2009

System Description:

This project involved migration of applications running on ATG6.0/DAS 6.0 to

ATG2006.3/DAS6.0.

Role:

System Description:

The project delivered an eCommerce application to CVS to help it restructure its online

new prescriptions, prescription renewal services and Front Store business. The project also

delivered 3 other applications to help CVS in other eCommerce related activities like Order

Fulfillment, Merchandizing, and Customer Support.

Role:

• Part of the team for UI Development of CVS.com.

• Developing prototypes (HTML pages) for all the modules

• Preparation of approach and detailed designs for the module

• Preparation of test plan, execution of test cases and supporting the modules during UAT

by fixing defects.
