Greater New Orleans Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk
Reduction System (HSDRRS) - Senior Lead Designer for
numerous levees, canals, pump stations and sector
gates. My responsibilities included Inroads Civil
design layouts and sections, DTM modeling, floodwall
layouts, Structural design layouts and sections,
rebar layouts, Mechanical design layouts and
sections, plan production, CADD standards and
coordination between design teams and the Army Corp
of Engineers New Orleans, Rock Island and Vicksburg
districts. I was also embedded with the Army Corp New
Orleans District for several months working on the
Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW) project. I handled
canal dredging, cofferdam design, DTM modeling,
earthwork calculations and site layout. With this
project, I also did work with the Civil, Structural,
Mechanical, Relocations and Electrical departments.
Daytona Speedway Improvements, Volusia County, FL -
Senior Lead Designer for design of the $62 Million in
improvements for the in-field garage area and new
tunnel under Turn 1 at the Daytona Speedway. My
responsibilities included the civil site layout, site
drainage and dtm modeling of all the new buildings,
Lake Lloyd improvements, 516 foot tunnel beneath Turn
1, RV parking improvements and new "FAN-ZONE"
attraction area. The project was a design-build
project with The Haskell Company. Design completed
July 2004. Construction completed Feb. 2005.
I-10 @ Marietta Interchange, FDOT District 2, Duval
County, FL - Senior Lead Designer for the new
interchange to replace the existing Marietta
Interchange with I-10 in western Duval County.
Project included the reconstruction of Hammond
Boulevard and Devoe Street. My responsibilities
included alignment design layout, dtm modeling, cross
sections design, utility relocations, quantities,
plan production and coordination for the plans.
I-10 Widening, FDOT District 2, Duval County, FL -
Senior Lead Designer for approximately seven miles of
interstate widening. My responsibilities included
alignment design layout, dtm modeling, cross sections
design, utility relocations, quantities, signing
pavement marking, plan production and coordination
for the plans. Construction is currently ongoing.
Martin County Rest Areas, FDOT District 4, Martin
County, FL - Senior Lead Designer for reconstruction
of the Martin County Rest Areas. My responsibilities
included alignment and design layout, cross section
design, site drainage, plan production and
coordination for the plans. Design completed in 2004.
Construction completed in 2005.
Hodges Boulevard Widening, City of Jacksonville,
Jacksonville, FL - Senior Lead Designer for
approximately two miles of roadway widening from
rural two-lanes to urban four-lanes divided. My
responsibilities included alignment and design
layout, cross sections design, site drainage, plan
production and coordination for the plans.
Construction is currently ongoing.

Carolina Bays Parkway, SCDOT, Myrtle Beach, SC -
Senior Civil Designer/CADD Manager on this 21 mile,
$232 million design/build project. My
responsibilities included designing and drawing
contract drawings for the roadway, site drainage,
environmental restoration and cross sections all in
Geopak in less than a year during 2000. Construction
completed in July 2001.
SR 9A from St. Johns Bluff to JT Butler Boulevard,
FDOT District 2, Jacksonville, FL - Senior Civil
Designer for final design services for new
construction of a four lane divided roadway including
drainage, interchanges and street improvements.
Construction completed 2007.

SR 10 (US-90), Beaver Street Viaduct Replacement,
FDOT District 2, Jacksonville, FL - Senior Civil
Designer responsible for producing the contract
drawings for the roadway, maintenance of traffic, and
signing and pavement marking plans. Utility
Relocations that required design of new water mains,
sanitary sewer and force mains that had to be built
under the new bridge construction over a CSX Railroad
Yard. Construction completed in 2003.
US 17, FDOT District 2, Duval and Nassau Counties, FL
- Senior Civil Designer responsible for producing the
contract drawings for the roadway construction plans,
including the horizontal and vertical alignments,
traffic control plans, cross sections criteria and
signing and pavement marking. Construction completed
in 2001.

Designer for replacing a two-lane rural road with a

lanes, and sidewalks. The project encompassed
approximately 2,500 ft of waterlines, approximately
2,200 ft of sanitary lines and approximately 1,800 ft
of force mains. Construction completed in 1999.
5th and McDuff Replacement & City Rehabilitation,
City of Jacksonville, Jacksonville, FL - Civil
Designer for services for the infrastructure
improvements along 5th Street and McDuff Ave,
including roadway, drainage, water and sewer
improvements, major storm sewer outfall, and an
off-site water detention facility.

over 1,000 ft of buried telephone cable,
approximately 2,300 ft of sanitary lines,
approximately 4,200 ft of waterlines and
approximately 2,000 ft of gas lines. Construction
completed in 1997.
Old Middleburg Road from Wilson Boulevard to 103rd
Street, City of Jacksonville, Jacksonville, FL -
Civil Technician for improving a two-lane rural
roadway to a three-lane urban section with sidewalks
and a bike lane. This 1.9-mile improvement involved
extensive coordination with existing utilities and
the accommodation of sanitary sewers and waterlines
for public utilities. Construction completed in 1997.
