start-up team, I was responsible for the

standing-up and launching of fire and

programs in an active combat zone involving

twenty-three fire stations and

approximately 550 firefighters - covering

all of Iraq. My response involved a

variety of incidents from structure fires,

down aircraft, vehicle fires, accidents,

hazardous materials spills, and response to

rocket and mortar attacks involving mass

causalities and collapsed buildings.
