My background is in the Facilities Engineering arena for electrical support of Clean Room manufacturing

and Data Center design and operation. I have experience as an electrical designer as well as a Project

Manager for the installation of two 750KW generators and the renovation and build from scratch construction

of several Data Centers with installations of APC and/or Liebert UPS systems and CRAC units.

CAREER HISTORY

Subcontractor to IBM Yorktown thru LJ Gonzer as a Project Manager. Administered projects

for all construction trades to install new tools and equipment in research labs, rearrange office

Areas, upgrade data centers and redistribute HVAC and exhaust services.

Job responsibilities :

Establish and document client requirements

Establish budget and construction schedule

Review Sub Contract trade engineering and designs

Issue and award bids

Meet with Site Safety and Health inspectors and local Zoning board

Track construction to successful completion

Special assignments included surveys of all elevators for proper operation and Code compliance;

survey of all Restrooms for ADA and air change/exhaust compliance; survey of all building

Exhaust Fans for energy consumption and performance.

Worked at Crawford and Associates in Hudson, NY as an electrical designer for commercial

and residential projects. Responsibilities included meeting with clients, determining project

requirements, creating bid documents and construction drawings and establishing budgets.

building; tracking operation and scheduled maintenance of all building systems, equipment and

tools, and providing hands on assistance to maintenance personnel for a variety of assignments.

Maintenance department customer interface for building clients; processed Maintenance Work

Orders and tracked them to satisfactory completion.

Project assignments included installing building exhaust fans and filtering system, HVAC and

exhaust fan control systems and supervising subcontractor Engineering and design projects for all

building improvements. Established budgets and tracked spending and construction progress for

projects ranging from $3000 to $ 1,1 million.

Trained and qualified as “First Responder” for chemical spills and emergency situations.

Retired from IBM in East Fishkill after 30 years in Facilities Engineering. Started career as a Mechanical

draftsman, attended numerous classes and seminars and became an electrical designer,

finished career as an “Advanced Technical Specialist”. Primary responsibility was electrical design

for power distribution (480/277 & 208/120 V); secondary responsibility in Controls design. Job
