SUMMARY

. Having more than 4 years background on SAS programming

. Having more than 3 year's professional work experience as a

statistical programmer in contract research organizations (CRO) on

different therapeutic areas including vaccine, mental problems,

respiratory diseases, oncology, and HIV

. Provided statistical programming support and validation, produced

statistical summary tables, figures and listings for Phase I-IV

clinical trials and ISS/ ISE studies, created Analysis Datasets in

CDISC and non CDISC. It is very easy for me to switch among different

studies.

. Easy-going and a great team player

EXPERTISE

. SAS tools: SAS/Base, SAS/Macro, SAS/STAT, SAS/SQL, SAS ODS, SAS/Graph.

. Operating Systems: WINDOWS, UNIX.

. Other: Microsoft Office, C, Matlab, Mathematica.

EXPERIENCE

1. Statistical Programmer at I3 Statprobe

Feb'08 - Current

I participated in 25 vaccine studies and several mental, respiratory, HIV,

oncology and ISS/ISE studies. I provided programming support in creation

and validation of analysis datasets, dummy datasets, pooled datasets,

statistical summary tables, figures and data listings for phase I - IV

clinical trials.

. Supported Statisticians performing statistical analysis and review of

statistical analysis plans and statistical sections of protocols.

Creation and validation of analysis datasets, tables, listings and

graphs using SAS.

. Generated tables, listings and figures to summarize study population

demographic features, effectiveness, safety, tolerability, and adverse

events of study drugs.

. Used various statistical procedures (PROC MIXED, PROC TTEST, PROC

FREQ, PROC GLM, PROC GENMOD, PROC GLM, PROC LOGISTIC) in TFL programs

for both efficacy and safety analysis based on the description

provided in the SAP.

. Performed data analysis, statistical analysis, generated reports,

listings and graphs using SAS tools, such as SAS/Base, SAS/Macros,

SAS/Graph, SAS/SQL.

. Used the SAS ODS facility to generate custom safety and efficacy

reports directing SAS output to RTF, PDF, and HTML files.

. Reviewed SAP, Protocol and all table shells to dummy dataset for every

study when we were waiting for real data.

. Created analysis datasets in CDISC standards and derived analysis

datasets in non CDISC.

. Developed and revised SAS Macros to optimize programming and unify

outputs.

. Participated in various functional meetings.

2. Statistical Programmer at BinAn SAS Programming/Consulting

Oct'06 - Nov'07

(part time)

. QCed AE and Lab data Tables and listings for two phase I studies and

one Phase III study by independently reproduced statistical output of

the main tables and listings.

. QCed Table/listing Specifications and shells for one Phase III study.

. QCed one Phase II Statistical Analysis Plan.

3. Statistical Consultant at Virginia Tech, Aug'06

-Dec'07

. Data manipulation including data sets creation, data

conversion/transfer using SAS

. Statistical displays generation including tables/listings/figures

production using SAS

. Statistical analysis application using statistical methods

4. Research Associate at Ruhr University of Bochum, Germany

Sept'02 - Sept'03

. Collaborated with a team at Department of Statistics, Dortmund

University, design, code, test and document SAS programs for dataset

creation, data analysis, and project reporting.

. Developing methods for controlling and suppressing the instabilities

encountered in deep hole drilling

. Establishing nonlinear dynamical system models for oscillatory

instabilities

. Using C and Mathematica software to set up models and analyze data for

the deep hole drilling system.

EDUCATION

. August, 2008 - December, 2008.

Categorical data analysis course at Department of Biostatistics, UNC

-Chapel Hill

. December, 2007

Master of Science in Statistics, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA

Research interests: Generalized linear model, Bayesian data

analysis

. June, 2002

Ph.D. in Mechanics Engineering, Beijing University of Aeronautics

and

Astronautics. Beijing, China

Research interests: Numerical simulations, set up nonlinear

models.

. July, 1995

Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Beijing Normal University,

Beijing,

China
