Anning-Johnson Company is a national sub-contracting organization. My activities
with the Las Vegas District were projects involving light-gauge metal-stud framing,
drywall installation and finishes, acoustical ceilings, EIFS, and fireproofing.
Experience Highlights
Mandarin Oriental Tower at MGM CityCenter, Las Vegas, Nevada (May 2008 to November
2009)
CityCenter is a 17,000,000 square foot- $8.5 billion, mixed-use massive urban
complex - was involved with a number of key tasks for a $23 million cost-plus fixed
percentage contract on the luxury hotel/condo tower - Mandarin Oriental.
Worked as a full-time on-site assistant to Anning-Johnson's Project Manager as well
as an assistant to Anning-Johnson's on-site Field Superintendent, General Foreman,
Trade Foreman, Safety Compliance Officer, and the Quality Assurance/ Quality
Control Representative. In addition, worked extensively in interfacing with the
CityCenter General Contractor- Perini Building Company, and design team- Hamilton
Anderson Assoc.
Louis Vuitton in CityCenter (August 2009 to February 2010)
A high end fashion retailer, a three-story tenant-improvement project that would
become the largest Louis Vuitton in North America, located in the Crystals Mall at
MGM CityCenter.
Worked as an assistant to the Project Manager and General Foreman for the
sub-contractor Anning-Johnson Co. for 6-months on the Louis Vuitton
tenant-improvement which started with an original contract amount of $800,000 and
ended with a final contract amount of $1.5 million.
Office Administration (March 2010 to April 2010)
Served as an administrative assistant to the home office of Anning-Johnson Company
in Las Vegas. Duties included the filing, distribution, and control of all relevant
project documents. Also, assisting home office estimators, superintendent, project
managers, construction manager, and purchaser.
