Senior Systems Engineer
. Responsible for the engineering details involving custom
design of plastic granulating systems to be used for
recycling molded plastic components. This included:
~ Electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic control of
accessories developed for automotive, PVC pipe, hose,
plastic film and sheet industries.
. Ensures bill of material accuracy.
. Utilizes 3D CAD system (Siemens' Solid Edge).
. Handles mechanical design, visits to customer facility and
customer approvals of drawings.
. Typical components worked on include: hydraulic tilt bed
feeder, conveyer feed system, tool feed system for film,
hose feed system, electric or pneumatic cylinder control,
material handling centrifugal blowers, welded steel
fabrications, and machined components.
Accomplishments
> Developed a hydraulic lift trough for processing PVC
pipe. Successfully sold 4 to 5 of these machines.
