November 2000 to November 2006:

Emerald Bay Resort (EBR), Great Exuma, Bahamas

Site Logistics and Safety/Security Director for a multi-million dollar, 470-

acre luxury resort community situated on Great Exuma Island in The Bahamas,

which includes a five-star Four Seasons Resort, a Greg Norman-designed 18-

hole signature golf course, restaurants, a spa and fitness center, a gaming

casino, a 125-slip marina capable of accommodating yachts up to 200 feet,

as well as ocean and marina estate home sites and residences

Site Logistic Responsibilities and Accomplishments:

- Provided liaison and resolved site logistical, operational, and

construction issues between EBR's management team and the Government

of The Bahamas, Bahamian Immigration officials, Bahamian Customs

officials, Royal Bahamian Police Department, Four Seasons Resort

management, construction contractors/subcontractors, Matrix

Water/Wastewater personnel, EBR Marina personnel, and Roker's Point

- Responded to variety of requests from EBR's CEO and COO, EBR

- Emergency Vehicle Trafficability Study: In 1987, I conducted a study

of 27 areas of unpaved property at the Southwest Florida International

Airport to determine if major firefighting vehicles could be driven on

these areas. The areas selected included terrain with sandy and mucky

soil, high and low elevations, as well as wet and dry locations.

Guidelines for conducting the study were provided by the U.S. Army

Corp of Engineers Waterway Experiment Station. Tests to determine the

firmness of the soil were conducted. These tests were performed in

areas in which the vegetation and terrain would allow the vehicles to

pass through during an emergency providing that the soil would support

their weight and traction needs. After all of the tests were

conducted and calculations made, a map was produced which showed which

vehicles could travel on each unpaved area of the airport. The map

also provided reliable routes for the vehicles to use across the

unpaved areas. It was felt that the trafficability study would prove

invaluable in saving lives and property in the event of an off

pavement crash or other disaster.

Outside Department Fire Service/Rescue Involvement:

- School Bus Emergencies and Disasters: In 1990, I initiated a training

program specializing in "School Bus Emergencies and Disasters". I

organized and conducted a number of seminars on school bus emergencies

and disasters, as well as seminars on the following subjects:
