Summary As a maintenance professional with 12 years experience, I have had
the opportunity to work in many different settings from production at GM
Lansing to Detroit Metro International airport. I spent 8 years performing
facility maintenance in the most secured areas of the McNamara Terminal,
with U.S. Customs, FAA, and INS security clearance. For both Johnson
Controls and Jones Lang Lasalle Americas, I was a lead on the startup crew.
I was entrusted the duty of designing a successful preventative maintenance
program that all employees would follow in order to keep the facility
secure and running efficiently. I was specifically assigned many of the
most critical tasks, including fire system monitoring center where I was
considered the expert at dealing with the fire system and communication
between the maintenance technicians, fire department, and Wayne County
Airport Authority. I was also on the safety committee and hazardous spills
team. I had first aid response training. I successfully completed
certification on security systems, doors and locks, bomb detection, metal
detectors and submersible pumps for the water feature and 60 ft boom lift.
I have used different employee and facility management software programs
such as Maximo,, Peoplesoft, and EAMS as well as Metesys. Troubleshooting
is where I excel. Electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, and
pneumatics are among some of the systems that I maintained on a daily
basis. I also have experience with PLC's and automation. Working in a
production environment I know the importance of keeping the lines in
operation. On numerous occasions I was stand in supervisor.
