AGISSAR CORPORATION, Stratford, CT
. Lead the design of an imaging system that while processing 40,000
documents per hour would pick out any notes handwritten on credit card
payment stubs and allow isolating those stubs for processing by the
customer. This allowed our customer to achieve their goal of catching
100% of their customers' communications.
. Successfully led the development from concept to delivery of an
automatic check and statement-orienting machine. Formulated the
machine concept and established the specification to meet the design
requirements, led engineering and design, prototype manufacturing,
testing in house and in the field. Led the analysis, design and
implementation of software and custom hardware for machine control and
of the reporting system. The project was completed on budget, on time
and to total customer satisfaction.
. Designed a thickness measuring and mail-sorting device for a mail-
opening machine improving the productivity of the customer payment
processing operation. The device was solid state controlled with a
proprietary algorithms and was awarded a US patent.
. Conceived and designed a solid state controlled vacuum device that
staggered the contents of an envelope rendering both of them visible
to the operator. This minimized operator handling, greatly reducing
the risk for carpal tunnel syndrome. The device was awarded a US
patent.
