improvement associate and a Six Sigma Black Belt in Project Management.

Selected Accomplishments

Significant market share and revenue generation. Sunrise strategy was to

grow market share in a segment that they were a small player in. Managed

multiple new product development projects with Asian contract suppliers in

multiple consumer markets. Increased multiple divisions revenue from $3m to

$14M in sales with 28% margin, another from $4M to $15M in sales with 26%

margin and directed new market penetration at $11M with 30% margin over

product platform.

Consolidation project. Sunrise made a decision to relocate newly acquired

business that was under achieving profit and delivery expectations.

Assigned by VP Operations to lead a project to relocate production from

Montana to Ohio and close facility. Increased profit margins from 31% to

38% on $4.5M product line with consolidation and integration of new

facility.

Outsourcing project. Sunrise corporate decision was made to outsource

product line at home office facility. Closed facility and established and

managed a small facility to develop tooling for Mexico facility and

manufacture service parts. Established new facility sales of $1.2M and

maintained 26% margin.

International relocation project. Sunrise initiated a consolidation of

operations in seating division (5 custom seating facilities and 2

Distribution centers). Relocated operations from WA, CA, MD, KS to CA and

Tijuana, Mexico as a supplier. Decreased lead times and saved $2.5M in

operational costs. Awarded Performance recognition award by CEO.

Start-up. Current Sunrise product line was sourced as completed SKU from

Asia with little to no configuration to customer requirements. Tasked to

expand product market share by purchasing kits from Asia and do light

assembly in a U.S. distribution center. Set up light assembly operation in

a distribution center allowing customers to order product to their

specifications and consolidated Asian product returns into single location.

Increased unit sales by 33%

Career History

Sunrise Medical Inc, A$500M medical device manufacturer.

Sr. Project Manager, 2000 to 2010. Promoted to manage product

development and restructuring projects including business expansions and

turnarounds, footprint reductions, product re-locations, product

development and sourced product in Asia, Mexico, and Europe. Project

budgets totaling $6M and multiple teams all over the world.

Facility Manager, 2005 to 2008. Tasked to manage production and

tooling operation with annual revenue of $1.2 million while serving in a

duel role as Senior Project Manager. Manufactured after market parts, poke-

yoke tooling for Tijuana, Mexico facility and fabricated parts for facility

in the U.S. Budget of $500K and staff of five.

Quality Manager, 1995 to 2000. Promoted to establish quality systems,

procedures, and practices to maximize business performance while ensuring

compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, EN 46001 and IS0 9001 standards in

regulated industry. Budget of $750K and staff of 11.
