including investment companies, banks, mortgage lenders, finance companies,
credit card issuers, and insurance companies. Work with member companies
to develop the Roundtable's public policy agenda and advocacy strategies on
wide-range of issues before the Administration, Congress, and regulatory
agencies. Analyze the potential effects of proposed legislation and
regulations; build coalitions in support of public policy priorities; and
communicate policy objectives to stakeholders and public officials; Other

Principal advisor regarding MDDCCUA's government relations efforts with the
Maryland General Assembly, D.C. City Council, and Capitol Hill; develop
strategies to increase awareness and support for credit unions among the

ensures that the MDDCCUA Board of Directors and senior leadership are kept

Coordinate lobbying efforts with state credit union leagues and National
Conference of State Legislators (NCSL) and American Legislative Exchange
Counsel (ALEC); articulate credit union positions to NCSL, ALEC, and
through policy statements; oversee assessment program to gauge credit union
support among state lawmakers involved with NCSL and ALEC; communicate with
state credit union league staff on a regular basis regarding lawmakers
involved with state policy organizations; establish and cultivate
relationships with state legislators. Establish and cultivate
relationships with management staff of state policy organizations and state
governor's offices in Washington, DC, and raise CUNA's profile with
