steel crew scheduler for Ritchie Curbow Construction Company. My main
function and responsibilities include pre-engineered building estimates, re-
roof estimates, detailed bid estimate, manage projects, manage the metal
building division, schedule crews, hire steel erectors, train the crews in
erection equipment safety by holding training classes, training new steel
erectors, implementing an apprentice training program for steel erectors,

arise due poor coordination between the architectural drawing and actual
field drawings, For the general construction division I carried out
additional duties in the preparation of estimates and manage conventional
projects.
I provide advice to clients of alternative but functional options that
will provide the same square footage and maintain the required exterior
design requirements by performing value engineering on projects that are
over budget. I initiated the movement of Ritchie Curbow Construction
Company's increased involvement in government projects.
I am the point of contact for the Army Corp of Engineers in matters
related to pre-engineered building construction overseeing the daily
operation of the Pre-engineered Building Division.
I am also the pre-engineered sales representative and perform actual field
sales including cold calling and following up on leads. I am at present in
working on the following potential prospects a 3.3 million dollar prospect,
1.5 million dollar prospect and a .5 dollar million prospect.

Prepared estimates for bidding purposes. In an effort to gather the correct
information so that the proposal will have a successful conclusion, I
turned the data into useful information by confirming unclear information
through cooperation and mutual respect with architects, clients,
subcontractors, and property developers. Turned the successful bid package
over to the project manager and informed the project manager on why the
project bid was successful and how to approach the project to accomplish
each phase successfully.

Implement the permanent processes and procedures to begin construction.
Liaison with the engineers, architects, clients' subcontractors, building
inspectors during the construction and as each phase of the project is
guided safely through all of the different divisions involved within the
construction of the project. I performed the weekly project scheduling,
cost tracing, ads and subtraction to the client and subcontractors
contracts. Kept the projects on schedule and updated the schedule as
needed. I wrote the payment requests, purchase orders, change orders and
subcontracts. Resolved design flaws and provided possible solutions. With
H. S. Williams Company we have handled projects ranging from 5 Million
Dollars to 500 Thousand Dollars. These projects have been pre-engineered
buildings, conventional buildings, structural steel buildings, and
combination of metal and block buildings. I have been responsible for
bowling centers, offices, transfer stations for garbage, industrial, and
manufacturing facilities. I have managed under my direction a Project for
VDOT, a Combo Building consisting of offices, a garage and an equipment
storage area approx. 20,000sqft, a 58,000sqft Shell Building for Mercer
County Development Authority a manufacturing addition to the Uttermost
Company approx. 98,000sqft.
